  1. Technical Specifications We introduce our low current consumption type Wall mount PIR sensor. Because the sensor operation can be covered only with the battery of 3V, the transmitter of a wireless system is built in and it makes it to a wireless sensor easily. It helps to expand the system which your company is used for.

  2. Model Lineup There are 2 kinds of sensors. All kinds of sensors are wall mount type . (Wide angle) Wall mount PIR (Curtain) Wall mount PIR

  3. Parts Description Sensors consist of simple, reliable unique circuit and unique structures . It is possible to install easily only by mounting the base in the wall side and setting the main body.

  4. Installing RF module To access inside of the sensor ①Loosen screw counterclockwise in bottom side ②Detach the cover ③ There is the point for connection of the wireless transmitter inside the sensor. The sensor can be made wireless only by connecting RF module that you prepare.

  5. Functions (Curtain) (Wide angle) Functions : LED : ALARM : TAMPER : PULSE(Use 1 only) : SENSITIVITY (H/L) Functions : LED : ALARM : TAMPER : PULSE(1/2/3/4) : SENSITIVITY (H/L)

  6. Functions <Warming up> * Warming-up starts when the battery is connected to the sensor. * Warming-up continues for approx. 30sec. * During warming-up, operation LED continues to blink. (Lights 0.1sec. every second.) * During warming-up, tamper output is activated but alarm output is prohibited.

  7. Detect Standby 10sec. Standby(H) 1sec. 1sec. Alarm(L) Alarm No alarm output Alarm Functions <Alarm > The sensor issues 1sec. one-shot alarm output when it detects human motion. Once it issues an alarm output, it doesn’t issue it for 10sec. even when it detects. Standby : H(Vcc=3V) Alarm : L(GND=0V) Detect human motion Alarm output

  8. Functions <Tamper> The sensor issues a latch output with 0.5sec. delay when it is attached toor detached the cover for 0.5sec. or longer. If the sensor is attached to or detached the cover in less than 1sec.,the output is oneshot for 1sec. (Min.) When the cover is attached / Standby : H(Vcc=3V) When the cover is detached / Alarm : L(GND=0V)  Less than 0.5sec. No tamper detection Less than 1sec. Attached cover Detached 1sec. Standby(H) Tamper output Alarm(L) 0.5sec. 0.5sec. 0.5sec. 0.5sec. 0.5sec.

  9. 0.2sec. or shorter Disable (H) Enable (L) Disable Enable Standby Alarm 10sec. or longer LED blinks ON OFF Warming up Functions <Alarm LED> Selectable for Enabled/Disabled.When LED is enabled, it lights in sync with alarm output. When LED is disabled, it doesn’t light even though it detects human motion. During warming-up, LED blinks regardless of Enabled/Disabled settings. Disable: H(Vcc=3V) Enable : L(GND=0V) input Status Alarm output LED

  10. 0.2sec. or shorter High Low High Low Functions <Sensitivity> Sensitivity setting Selectable for H/L High : H(Vcc=3V) ‥ 100% (Standard) Low : L(GND=0V) ‥ 75% input Status

  11. Functions <Pulse count> Pulse count is selectable for 1/2/3/4 . (Wide angle) Pulse count 1 H(Vcc=3V) H 2 L(GND=0V) H 3 H L 4 L L ※First pulse will not be counted. When “Pulse count 1” is selected, two pulse inputs should be required to trigger an alarm. ※(Curtain): Pulse count use only “Pulse count 1” .

  12. 0.2sec. or shorter H L H L 0.2sec. or shorter H L H L 1 2 4 3 1 0 1 2 Standby(H) Alarm(L) Functions <Pulse count> Pulse count setting input Status Pulse count setting input Status Pulse count Ex. Pulse count setting is 2; Detection Alarm

  14. Specifications

  15. Recommended battery • CR123Ax2 Only 20μA is consumed while it is standby mode. Even if RF module is shared with the battery, long battery life can be expected because the sensor is designed to mount two battery of the CR-123A type. 100 detections / day Battery Life : around 7 years • Above life time is only connect sensor.

  16. END TAKEX supplies the security product of low current consumption that can exert the maximum effect in little energy. Takenaka Engineering Co.,Ltd.
