Control Accounts vs. Chargeable Task Codes • Control Account (CA) – Intersection between the WBS and OBS where variance analysis will be preformed and VARs generated if thresholds are triggered. • Charge Task Code (CTC) – Is the level that actual cost are collected • Task in Fermi’s financial system (Oracle PA) • Task that Fermi people charge their time in Kronos. • Only one type of funding per CTC (i.e. OPC, PED, Line Item, …) • Separate CTCs for each contract • Separate CTCs for same work being done at separate locations/institution 15-Sep-2010 Mu2e WGM
