  1. TYPE 2 DIABETES- SYMPTOMS AND CAUSES federalhealth.net/type-2-diabetes-symptoms-and-causes February 8, 2021 Up to 5 percent of the world population gets affected by the various forms of Diabetes with 12 million diabetics in Western Europe alone. Non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) is probably the most commonly encountered genetic disease of the different ways in which diabetes presents. NIDDM or Type 2 diabetes is multifactorial, depending also on environmental factors including obesity, sedentary lifestyles, and nutritional imbalances. Curing Diabetes Naturally: Yoga has been scientifically proven which gives beneficial results in curing diabetes. The yoga exercises which are prescribed by the experts for curing diabetes is different from hatha yoga exercise. Because it involves positions tailored to treat certain conditions, as well as meditation, relaxation, and stretching exercises. One of the studies conducted to cure diabetes was the one set up by the Yoga Biomedical Trust, founded in 1982 by biochemist Dr. Robin Monro. and an Indian yoga research foundation that discovered that practicing yoga for 30 minutes a day for one month helped reduce blood glucose levels in some diabetics. What is Diabetes? Diabetes is a disease in which blood glucose levels are absent in comparison to normal. People who are suffering from diabetes have problems converting food to energy. After each meal, food that is taken is broken down into a sugar called glucose, which is carried by the blood to cells throughout the whole body. The hormone insulin made in the pancreas is used by the cells, to help them process blood glucose into energy. 1/2

  2. Type 2 Diabetes Overview: Type 2 diabetes, formerly called adult-onset or noninsulin-dependent diabetes, is a common form of diabetes. This type of diabetes can build up in people of any age, even during childhood. This kind of diabetes frequently begins with insulin resistance, a condition in which fat, muscle, and liver cells do not use insulin properly. At first, the pancreas produces more insulin. With time, however, it loses the ability to secrete enough insulin in response to meals. People who are suffering from overweight and immobile are the ones who are more likely to develop type 2 diabetes. Treatment admits taking medicines for diabetes, making food choices wisely, exercising regularly, controlling blood pressure and cholesterol, and taking aspirin daily for some. In many people, type 2 diabetes gets developed because their cells in the muscles, liver, and fat do not use insulin properly. Ultimately, the pancreas cannot make enough insulin for the body’s needs. As a result, the level of glucose in the blood increases while the cells will be starved of energy. Over the years it is found that high blood glucose damaged nerves and blood vessels. It also leads to complications such as heart disease, stroke, blindness, kidney disease, nerve problems, and gum infections. So, it should be taken seriously, and consult an expert or diabetics specialist before it gets worse. Add Comment 2/2
