  2. Washing machine is a great support for any homeowner. You just put all your clothes in it and then turn it on to give it a nice spin and your clothes would come out clean and bright as good as new. It is very effortless as compared to olden times when with no appliances it was actually very difficult to clean laundry. But like anything else, a washing machine also needs to be cleaned from any dust particles or grime that gets collected inside it. Many people might not be aware that washing machine can get dirty since it does a lot of washing but fact is that a machine gets too dirty and therefore requires some good comprehensive cleaning. So if you really want a completely clean washing machine then here are a few things that you need to do.

  3. Clean Rubber and interiors: You can find a lot of different types of detergents and solutions to clean washing machines. However, you can also use simple bleach and water solution that can give a marvelous result and is also very easy on your budget too. So just 1 part of bleach with 12 parts of water. Mix it and you have your solution prepared. Use this solution to wipe the rubber and clean as far inside as it is possible.

  4. Run Machine on Self-Cleaning Mode: When you are done with cleaning your washing machine with bleach and water then add some detergent and run it for some time. It is better to use hot water to give your machine a thorough cleanse. Run machine for the longest cycle to give it a good rinse. Once the cycle completes check it for smell of bleach. If still there is some smell then run it again for another full cycle.

  5. 3. Don’t Neglect Exterior of the Machine Make sure that you clean the exterior of your machine. It would not catch substances like mildew, it can catch dust and can get dirty because of it. You can clean exterior with a damp cloth. In the end make sure that there is no water in the drain pipe.
