  1. How to build your own PRO SCOOTER Before you start building you will need the right tools. Make sure you have Allen keys for tightening bolts, you’ll need a wrench set to tighten bolts, some zip ties for sliding on the handlebar grips, a razor blade for cutting the grip tape and finally some grip tape. Handlebars, deck, grip, bearings, a headset, a clamp, grip tape, wheels, and a fork. The aforementioned items are necessary if you want to have a ride-able scooter but there are other things you’ll need or have the option of having like: a brake, pegs and bar ends. Pro Scooter Bars Shorter scooter bars can make executing spinning and flips easier. Taller bars makes riding longer distances more comfortable which makes sense for street riding. Handle Grips The best grip is going to be comfortable which denotes some softness but not too much. The length and thickness are also important depending on your hand size. Too thick of a grip will be uncomfortable and thin ones can cause blisters. Pro Scooter Clamps and Compression System Scooter clamps attaches the bars to the fork. There are few varieties depending on the compression system you are using. • SCS (Standard Compression System) have the most surface and are more stylish. • IHC and ICS (Internal Compression System) are more traditional and comes in a wide array of different styles. Grip Tape Sandpaper like adhesive tape that should cover the top of the deck to keeps your feet from sliding off the deck. Depending on the size of your deck consider the length, width and your preference for gritty-ness. Pro Scooter Wheels Headset Wheels come in different sizes and so does hardness or softness. Harder PU allows more superior speed while softer options provides better grip and shock absorption on landing. Most pro scooter headsets are created with the same diameter, so headsets are universal. Bearings in the headsets perform best when maintained properly. Scooter Fork Threadless Fork Have smoother steerer tube and also are generally lighter and stronger compared to threaded forks. Threaded Fork Have threads on top of the steerer tube and also are less desirable because they require threaded pro scooter headsets. Scooter Deck Deck width and length is important for foot placement and tricks. Short decks work well for deck spinning tricks and flips. Longer decks work well for grinds and slides on handrails and coping. For more info on this review visit: https://cheapproscooters.com/build-your-own-pro-scooter/ Join us on:
