Relatives Participating in MME Testing • Key MME Testing Staff have access to secure test materials prior to testing • Test Supervisor / Back-up Supervisor may notbe related to anystudent taking the standard time MME in 2012 anywhere in Michigan. • TAC may not be related to any student approved for accommodated MME in 2012 anywhere in Michigan. 23

  24. Relatives Participating in MME Testing Relatives are defined as: • Children / Step-children • Grandchildren • Nieces / Nephews • Siblings • In-laws • Spouses • Persons under your guardianship 24

Athletic Coaches • For Accommodated Testing – may not serve as the Test Accommodations Coordinator if any student athletes test with accommodations. • For Standard Time and Accommodations testing – may not serve as a Room Supervisor – in any one-on-one situation where student athletes are testing. 25

  26. MME Staffing • Room Supervisors and Proctors may not assist in a room where any relative is being tested 26

  32. Required MME Training Session –who must attend • ALLnewTest Supervisors, Back-up Test Supervisors, and Test Accommodations Coordinators are required to attend • ONLY for “Named” MME Test Staff • Ideally, testing staff from each school will attend the same session 32

  44. MME Assessment Sitesand Facilities • Same requirements for Day 1, Day 2, and Day 3 • Preferred site is in a quiet wing of the high school • Off-site administration • Each site must request ACT approval by December 14, 2011 44

  46. Exceptions for Day 2 and Day 3 Only • Permitted ONLY if hardship situation • Students permitted in building or wing for instructional purposes only • Bells • Public Announcements 46

  47. Who Takes MMEin Spring 2012? • Grade 11 – All students • Only two exceptions: • student who is taking the MI-Access • Student retained/reclassified as Grade 11 who has previous valid MME scores in all subjects (Performance Level 1, 2, 3, or 4) 47

  48. Who Takes MMEin Spring 2012? • Grade 12 • Only eligible to test if: • First-time tester OR • Student who has an MME score of NA (not valid) in one or more subjects • Eligible students/parents must be offered opportunity to test 48

  49. Who Takes MMEin Spring 2012? • Grade 12 • Students not previously tested due to grade reclassification must test or school may face accountability consequences 49
