  2. Colorectal Cancer • Colorectal cancer is defined as a cancer that begins in either the digestive tract or the rectum. Colon cancer, when discovered early, is extremely treatable. It is spreads into nearby lymph nodes, surgical procedures followed by radiation treatment is extremely successful.

  3. Symptoms of Colorectal Cancer • Change in bowel habits • Diarrhea • Constipation • Anemia • Abdominal swelling • Gastrointestinal bleeding • Weight Loss • Vomiting

  4. Common Risk Factors • Alochol consumption • Obesity • Smoking • Lack of Physical Exercises • Inflammatory intestinal illness • Low fiber, high fat diet • Family history of colon cancer

  5. Treatments Treatments can depends on many things, including stages of cancer. The treatments include are: • Surgery • Chemotherapy to kill cancer cells • Radiation therapy to destroy cancerous tissues
