The prospective deal follows an unpublicized 2006 contract between Abu Dhabi and ImageSat International, owners and operators of the Eros A and B, which are essentially commercial knock-offs of Israel's Ofeq spycraft. For Israel, the deal represents the latest step in forging links with a key moderate Arab state which, like Israel, worries about the threat from Iran. Much of the UAE's conventional military investment - along with billions of dollars spent by other Gulf Cooperation Council states - is aimed at deterring Iran. EVENT Abu Dhabi is the capital city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). On the map above the dark green blob is UAE. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is a federation of seven states formed in 1971 by the then Trucial States after independence from Britain. UAE is a modern and moderate Arab nation. As an Arab nation one might expect them to be “anti” Israel. In fact they are not. As the article says they are working with Israel because they see Iran as a common threat. This not only applies to UAE but to most other nations in the Saudi Arabian peninsula. eg Oman, Qatar, Yemen and Saudi Arabia itself. This precisely fits in with what the Bible says in Ezekiel 38. Sheba and Dedan are NOT involved in attacking Israel. The area of Sheba and Dedan takes in the whole of the Saudi Peninsula of which UAE is part. Yemen was actually where it is believed the Queen of SHEBA came from. The final war is NOT all Arabs against the Jews. COMMENT BIBLE QUOTE (Ezekiel 38:13)

Mini-summit pledges Arab unity Aljazeera, March 11, 2009 The leaders of Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt and Kuwait have pledged to work together to advance the causes of their region. At the end of a mini-summit in the Saudi capital, the Arab leaders said: "The leaders consider that their meeting marks the start of a new period in their relations which will see their four countries act together in the service of Arab interests." Wednesday's statement also signalled the launch of "serious and continuous action for the benefit of Arab countries and of their agreement to embark on a unified path regarding essential issues, topped by the Palestinian question". The Riyadh summit was attended by King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, Bashar al-Assad, the president of Syria, Hosni Mubarak, his Egyptian counterpart, and Emir Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah of Kuwait. EVENT In the final conflict one may expect it to be Arab versus Jew. This is NOT what the Bible says though. The Bible speaks of certain Arab nations not being involved in the war against Israel. Some Arab nations however may well be involved. What does the Bible say about the 4 Arab nations attending this summit? Saudi Arabia and Kuwait form the ancient territory of Sheba and Dedan. Ezekiel 38:13 makes clear these nations are NOT involved in attacking Israel with Gog (Russia). Egypt is not mentioned in Ezekiel 38 but it is in Daniel 11 which speaks of the exact same event. We are told in Daniel 11:42 that Egypt is invaded by the king of the north (Gog) and therefore we can presume as Egypt is attacked that Egypt is not part of the Gogian invasion. These 3 Arab nations are pro America generally so this fits. Syria is different. It is was once the king of the north. Syria is not pro USA and remains anti Israel. Destruction may well come on Syria before the Gogian invasion. COMMENT BIBLE QUOTE (Isaiah 17:3)

Saudis give nod to Israeli raid on Iran The Times, July 5, 2009 The head of Mossad, Israel’s overseas intelligence service, has assured Benjamin Netanyahu, its prime minister, that Saudi Arabia would turn a blind eye to Israeli jets flying over the kingdom during any future raid on Iran’s nuclear sites. Earlier this year Meir Dagan, Mossad’s director since 2002, held secret talks with Saudi officials to discuss the possibility. The Israeli press has already carried unconfirmed reports that high-ranking officials, including Ehud Olmert, the former prime minister, held meetings with Saudi colleagues. The reports were denied by Saudi officials. “The Saudis have tacitly agreed to the Israeli air force flying through their airspace on a mission which is supposed to be in the common interests of both Israel and Saudi Arabia,” a diplomatic source said last week. Although the countries have no formal diplomatic relations, an Israeli defence source confirmed that Mossad maintained “working relations” with the Saudis. EVENT Saudi Arabia is an Arab state. We may therefore think that they will be against Israel at the time of the end. With Bible in hand though we find that this is not the case. Saudi Arabia is NOT one of the nations that attacks Israel – in fact it is one of the nations “onside” with Israel and America. We read about Saudi Arabia in Ezekiel 38 where it mentions Sheba and Dedan. Sheba and Dedan cover very similar territory to modern Saudi Arabia. Sheba and Dedan are mentioned with Tarshish (Britain) and the young lions (USA, Australia etc). From a practical point of view Saudi sees Iran as a massive threat to the region and therefore will allow Israel to fly though its airspace to attack Iran. COMMENT BIBLE QUOTE (Ezekiel 38:13)
