Humidity What is humidity ? Humidity is the amount of water vapour present in the air. If there is a lot of water vapour in air, the humidity will be high.
Facts about humidity. 1. The higher the humidity, the wetter it feels outside. 2. Is it possible to have 100% humidity 3. When water vapor remains in the air as humidity, it makes the temperature feel warmer. As the humidity lowers, the air feels cooler! 4. Fifty percent humidity is a sponge half full. 5. Humidity, or the amount of moisture in the air, changes based on air temperature, warm bodies of water, and air movement.
