Curry Todd: Former Police Officer

Curry Todd is a Tennessee Republican who was elected to the State House of Representatives in 1988. He has been a member of the 101st through the 108th General Assemblies. Curry Todd attended the University of Memphis, where he was an outstanding basketball player who averaged sixteen points per game and a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. Curry Todd received the Tennessee PTA's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2006.

  1. Curry Todd: Former Police Officer Curry Todd is a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, representing the state's 95th Congressional District. He was first elected to the State House in 1988. Curry Todd is a former Memphis Police Officer, and was the legislative liaison for the Tennessee Fraternal Order of Police from 1982 to 1987. During his political career, Curry Todd has received many accolades, including the Tennessee PTA Lifetime Achievement Award.

  2. Curry Todd Was Voted As Mr. Treadwell Curry Todd is a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives and a supporter of many conservative political causes and issues. He attended Treadwell High School in Memphis, where he was voted "Mr. Treadwell" and had his basketball jersey retired. Curry Todd went on to the University of Memphis where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He was first elected to the State House in 1988.

That district includes part of Shelby County. He is a graduate of the University of Memphis. During his long political career, Curry Todd has been named Legislator of the Year by the Tennessee Professional Firefighters Association and Outstanding Legislator by the Tennessee PTA.
