Representative Experience United States Air Force Collaborated with U.S. Air Force weapon experts to optimize RFID weapons management to improve the speed and efficiency of weapon, gear and ammo transfers. The resulting weapons management solution was deployed for both military base armories, and military base training centers. Includes RFID antennas at Issue-Return windows to automatically track weapons, gear and ammo when being Issued to Officers and when being Returned by Officers to an armory. Authenticates personnel using Military Personnel ID card barcodes, with photo of officer & demographics displayed as text. Validates transfer-of-custody with electronic signature pad. Bermuda Police Service and Royal Bermuda Regiment Project included design and implementation of weapons, gear and ammo tracking system for the Bermuda police and military. The installed solution includes RFID tracking and security of weapons, with barcode tracking of gear and magazines. The system establishes database records for all weapons, gear, magazines, ammo, cases, cartons and personnel. Utilizes UHF RFID antennas and hands-free RFID-barcode scanner at Issue-Return windows and on work surfaces to track the issuance and return of weapons, gear and ammo. Includes mobile RFID / barcode scanner that produces rapid armory and warehouse inventories, and finds ‘missing items’. RFID antennas, alarm, flashing lights at exits prevent unauthorized weapon removals. Al Udeid Air Base Al Udeid Air Base is the largest U.S. military base in the Middle East, and is host to the forward headquarters of United States Central Command. The armory weapon tracking system manages weapons, gear and ammo for base security and identifies, houses and tracks weapons brought to the base by ‘transient’ soldiers that have temporary stay and then are forwarded to other bases and duties in the region. WeaponTracker is currently being installed for complete armory management, including tracking all weapons, weapon dependent gear, tactical gear and magazines Issued-to and Turned-in by officers. Mobile scanners enable rapid inventories and audits of all weapons, gear, ammo and explosives held by armory.
Representative Experience Orange County Department of Corrections The Orange County, Florida Department of Corrections includes 4,500 jail sales and 600+ security personnel providingsecurity for all facility buildings, the hospital where inmates received medical care and the Courts where inmates have legal hearings. Utilizes workstation computers with USB RFID- barcode scanner and electronic signature pad, and tablet PC’s with mobile scanner, to perform Issue/Turn-in transactions, inventories, audits and to find ‘missing’ items. WeaponTracker automates operations and eliminated spreadsheets and forms. U.S. Army Joint Base Lewis–McChord includes Army and Air Force staff and is a training and mobilization center for all services and the only Army power projection base west of the Rocky Mountains in the United States. WeaponTracker replaces manual process and paper-based forms with computer-based tracking of weapons, gear and ammo, with real-time software intelligence to ensure that Issues / Turn-ins follow required security and tracking protocols. System includes multiple, complex forms that are auto-generated by the system and that can be viewed, printed and emailed to Command. Baton Rouge Police Department The Baton Rouge Police Department includes 645 sworn police officers and 267 unsworn support staff, serving a population of approximately 227,071. The Baton Rouge Police Department utilized spreadsheets to manage weapon registrations, officer registrations, weapon , gear and ammo assignments to personnel, officer certifications and certifications start/end dates, and all other armory management functions. Implemented weapons management software to control all weapons, gear and ammo data in the digital computerized database, for quick accountability of weapon locations and officer weapon certifications.
