  4. Status Summary • Real assembly should start this week. • Many miscellaneous parts ordered and most here. (o-rings, bolts, cryo grease, fittings, copper strips) • Compressor for Cryo cooler wired up. Extending control cables. • Run Cryo cooler only – week of 2/21? • Cool cassettes – week of 2/28 or later? • Ship in March R. Rucinski, Fermilab Feb. 9, 2005

  5. Pictures – Thermal links • Thermal link fabrication problems have a solution – Copper here. Solder on order. Delivered parts cleaned up for re-use. • Using 30 sheets of 0.005” thick copper at each link. • Polyimide (Kapton) 0.003” as solder mask • Calculate Temp drop 1.0 K at 65 K, & 0.1 K at 8 K station • Calculate 20 lbf, 90 Newtons force to flex R.
