  3. Create search proposal Double check to make sure this says “Search Administrator” if it doesn’t select “Search Administrator next to your name and click the refresh arrow

  4. Create search proposal Once logged in as “search Administrator” Create a search proposal by either clicking the shortcut link or selecting the correct search proposal type from the top menu drop down

  5. Create search proposal As in our current system, you can create your search proposal from the established template..

  6. Create search proposal Search for the correct template using job code or key word.

  7. Create search proposal We’ll start with an Admin Secretary position

  8. Create search proposal The template will appear to make sure it is the correct one and you will then click “Create search proposal from template in the upper right area of the screen.

  9. Create search proposal Select Department from drop down menu Indicate whether you would like to request letters of reference for the candidate

  10. Create search proposal If letters of reference are required, you can select when the request is sent to the reference and if the candidate’s status should change when reference letters are all received.

Now when you submit the search, you can include comments that will appear on the e-mail to the receiver (ex. HR, Dean’s office, Academic HR

  38. Track search proposal status At the status “Human Resources”, the position is pending HR approval.

  39. Track search proposal status At the status “posted” or “reposted” the position is open for applications

  40. Track search proposal status The “Closed” status means that the posting is no longer available to applicants. Search Committee review is ongoing.

  49. Create hiring proposal In order to start a hiring proposal the candidate needs to be in an interviewed status

  50. Track hiring proposal status This link will appear for any candidate who has been designated as interviewed and a hiring proposal can be created. Faculty positions will have a choice of full time or part time
