  5. What’s New? • Charges for installers agreed by the Steering Group • £100 per year • £5 per installation • Charges for products on a sliding scale • £350 / £250 / £175 / £100 • Does not include Certification Body fees

What’s New? • New Certification Bodies are being accredited by UKAS • BRE (already accredited) • NICEIC (already accredited for solar thermal & heat pumps installers) • Action Renewables (Installer) • BBA (Installers and product) • BSI (Product) • CORGI (Installers) • EC Certification / ELECSA (Installers) • HETAS (Installers and product) • NAPIT (Installers) • TUV NEL (Wind product)

  7. What’s New? • Steering Group to be replaced by a Panel • Chairman currently being elected • Various Working Groups continue to meet to finalise or review MCS documents • A Products Workshop was held to consider product families and MCS FPC requirements

  8. Current Position • There are 95 GSHP installers accredited under MCS • 57 GSHP products accredited under MCS • 114 GSHPs are accredited under ClearSkies • These will need to become MCS accredited by the end of the year • Total of 304 MCS installers

  9. MCS Development • Exhibited at EcoBuild and Sustainability Live • Presented at Energy Ireland • Articles published in trade press
