  1. ANIMAL KINGDOM • Animal Kingdom is divided into 11 phylums. They are • Protozoa • Porifera • Coelenterata • Platyhelminthes • Aschelminthes • Annelida • Arthropoda • Mollusca • Echinodermata • Hemichordata • Chordata • Mammalia

  2. PROTOZOA • Unicellular • Parasite • Reproduction by binary • Division,Multiple fission. Ex-Amoeba,Parasite

  3. PORIFERA • Multicellular • Canal system in body. • Both asexual and sexual reproduction. Ex-Spongila,Sycon.

  4. COELENTERATA • Lives in colony. • Tentacles are present. • Mouth functions both for eating and excreating purpose. • Creates Coral reefs. • Ex-Sea anemone, Hydra.

  5. PLATYHELMINTHES • Multicellular • Bilateral symmetry in body. Bisexual. Ex-Plannaria,Tapeworm

  6. ASCHEHELMINTHES • Multicellular • Excreatory and Nervous system present. • Unisexual. • Sexual Reproduction. • Ex-Roundworm, Hookworm.

  7. ANNELIDA • Body divided into different segments. • Seta found. • Respiration by gill. • Nephridium found. • Unisexual or Bisexual. • Asexual and Sexual reproduction. • Ex-Earthworm,Leech.

  8. ARTHROPODA • Body divided into three parts. • Outer membrane made up of chitin. • Compound eye present. • Reproduction by gill. • Unisexual • Sexual Reproduction. • Ex-Prawn,Butterfly.

  9. MOLLUSCA • Body covered by cell. • U-shaped digestive system. • Redula found. • Unisexual. • Sexual Reproduction. • Ex-Octopus,Snail.

  10. ECHINODERMATA • Body covered by spicules. • Tube feet found. • Nervous syster present. • Respiration by gill. • Unisexual. • Both asexual and sexual Reproduction. Ex- Starfish,Sea cucumber.

  11. HEMICHORDATA • It has both character of chordata and vertebrata. • Body divided into three parts- • Proboscis,collar,trunk. • Unisexual. • Fertilisation occurs • outside the body. Ex-Balanoglossus.
