Watercolour Tattoos Watercolour and ink pens
How to use watercolour • You can mix colours just like acrylics but to get lighter colours you just add more water • To get darker bolder colours you only use a little bit of water.
What should your design focus on? • Repetition: through shapes, lines, colours, patterns and so on. • Your lines should be smooth when you outline them. • Colours should be bold, shading is not necessary, simple/geometric bold designs work best. • Be creative, create a design that appeals to you.
Where to start? • Start by brainstorming a few ideas in your sketchbook. • When you have one you like, get it approved. • Then draw your design on watercolour paper very lightly. • Paint with watercolour • Ink with black pilot pens.
