  2. Black & White • Classic black & white will always be in style, but this season we’re seeing it in color blocked in a majority of garments.

  3. Luxe punk • Luxe Punk is adding edginess to our every day style by throwing leather into every look on the runway.

  4. Seeing green • It has been said before that emerald was the color of 2013 and we see it all over the fall runway. Along with “seeing green”, we also see all different colored jewel tones.

  5. Embellished everything • Embellished everything is very self explanatory. There are studs, sequins, and shine all over any type of garment for this fall.

  6. Over-the-top outerwear • Over-the-top outerwear is adding a twist on jackets everywhere. The basic jacket now has a pop of embroidery and color.

  8. Mod world • Mod World is sticking to the blacks and whites, but including a variation in fabrics such as; 3-D, eyelet, metallics, floral lace, PVC, sequins, openwork, leather, sateen, organza, and shine.

  9. Provincial picnic • Provincial Picnic is an update on nautical with florals, stripes, fruit prints, soft plaids, eyelet, and ginghams prints. Reds and pale blues are key for this emerging trend.

  10. Spice trail • Spice Trail is a mix of embellishment, embroidery, and metallics, with Indian and Moroccan influences.

  11. Glam grunge • Glam Grunge is a twist on the 1990’s trend. It has a relaxed mix of sheer plaids and moody florals in a muted color palette.
