  2. 1.) Shelly was turning 13 and she was so excited. She invited all of her closest friends to her birthday party. The party was on Friday at 7:00pm and lasted for three hours. Her friends and her decided to cut the cake into six pieces. She was a little greedy and wanted her piece to be the biggest because she was the birthday girl. She took out 2pieces from the cake.   3. 2.) At the bank there are all sorts of jobs that people can do. There are loan officers, bank tellers, and mortgages officers. Each has their own specific duties and responsibilities. As a teller working in the bank, they handle money all day long. They count money ranging from pennies to 100 dollar bills. Part of teller training, they had to memorize the thickness of different coins. They learned that a quarter is 1 mm, a dime is 1mm, a nickel is 1mm, and a penny is mm thick. One of the questions asked on the teller test was to find how much thicker is a quarter than a dime. What is the correct answer to this question? A.) B.) C.) D.)
