  1. GHOSTS… Do they really exist?

  2. What do we know about them? • Ghosts are supposedly disembodied spirits of the dead. • The term “ghost” refers only to the apparition of such a person. • People claim to have seen and heard them.

  3. Are these sightings plausible? Church of Saint Mary, photographer claims not to have seen the ghost while taking the picture…

  4. The logic • Most people claim to have seen ghosts through pictures taken, are these pictures reliable? • We obviously can’t see ghosts, without a camera. Seeing and hearing ghosts has a simple explanation: hallucinations. That leaves three more senses; we can’t taste them or smell them. Some claim to have a feeling they’re here, can we trust this or not? Highly unlikely is what scientists say.

  5. Belief and Existence In some parts of the world people believe spirits are among us… Is it because they want to believe in ghosts? Or is it due to hallucinations? These “ghosts” do not appear to the five human senses, therefore their existence is in doubt.

  6. Psychological aspects and the truth • Hallucination • Reflections Fear creates hallucinations. • Hysteria • Psychosomatic response psychologically induced pain syndromes • Bias wanting to believe there are ghosts • Technology failure This is an extremely humid room made to be haunted, extreme heats create hallucinations.
