1. Has religion been created by man to control society? Extended project by Jeffrey Osei

2. My project • What is my project title about. • Why I chose to do this project.

3. Theories • Similarities between Jesus’ life and the story of Zodiac • Similarities between different messiahs, deities, gods etc. • Optical illusion of prayer

4. Zodiac • God’s sun • Light of the world

5. Similarities between ‘Saviours’ • Egyptian sun God (3000 B.C.) • Born December 25th • Born from a virgin • Star in the east • Adored by three kings • Teacher at 12 • Baptized/Ministry at 30 • 12 disciples, performed miracles • Lamb of God, the light • Betrayed, Dead for 3 days then resurrected.

6. Attis & Krishna

7. Dionysus & Mithra

8. Jesus Christ • Born of a virgin • Born on December 25th • Star in the east • 12 disciples • Performed miracles • Dead for three days • Resurrected

9. Why similar birth sequence? • Virgo=virgin in Latin • Virgo A.K.A • House of bread • House of bread= • Bethlehem

10. Personifications of the sun • The sun "dies" for three days on December 22nd, the winter solstice, when it stops in its movement south, to be born again or resurrected on December 25th, when it resumes its movement north. • In some areas, the calendar originally began in the constellation of Virgo, and the sun would therefore be "born of a Virgin." • The sun is the "Light of the World." • The sun "cometh on clouds, and every eye shall see him." • The sun rising in the morning is the "Saviour of mankind." • The sun wears a corona, "crown of thorns" or halo. • The sun "walks on water." • The sun's "followers," "helpers" or "disciples" are the 12 months and the 12 signs of the zodiac or constellations, through which the sun must pass. • The sun at 12 noon is in the house or temple of the "Most High"; thus, "he" begins "his Father's work" at "age" 12. • The sun enters into each sign of the zodiac at 30°; hence, the "Sun of God" begins his ministry at "age" 30. • The sun is hung on a cross or "crucified," which represents its passing through the equinoxes, the vernal equinox being Easter, at which time it is then resurrected.

11. Illusion of prayer • Answer to unanswered prayers • ‘Test of faith’ or ‘God knows best’ • God answers prayers in the form of ‘yes’ ‘no’ and ‘wait’

12. Pray to the bottle • The bottle can answer all your prayers • It knows what is best • If it does not answer your prayer it is testing your faith in it • How does the bottle lose? • The bottle is the same as a stone statue, a milk bottle and God!!!
