  1. Matthew 28:19-20 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.

  2. Responses to the Great Commission • “Amen!” • “I think that is exactly what the church should be doing!” “If we aren’t doing that, we aren’t doing what Jesus commanded.”

  3. Problem We say it but don’t do it.

  4. Why? We really don’t know how to do it.

  11. A: Adoration Adoration is praise, admiration, worship, reverence, and respect

  12. Biblical Encouragement Isaiah 6 describes the angels of heaven singing, “Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord of hosts.”

  13. Biblical Encouragement Jesus in Matthew 6:9, “Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be Your name.’”

  14. A: Adoration Adoration is choosing a name or attribute of God and praising Him for who He is.

  16. C: Confession Confession is a declaration associated with worship; it is an admission of sin.

  19. Biblical encouragement If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:8-9

  28. S: Supplication • Supplication is asking and humbly begging God for something. • Asking for help, deliverance, wisdom, and/or guidance.

  36. How can I be intentional about reaching people with the message of Jesus?

  45. Praying for your WHO: • Pray that God would free them from the slavery of sin.

  46. But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed. Romans 6:17

  47. Praying for your WHO: • Pray that God would free them from the slavery of sin. • Pray that God would remove Satan’s blinding influence.

  48. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. 2 Corinthians 4:4

  49. Praying for your WHO: • Pray that God would free them from the slavery of sin. • Pray that God would remove Satan’s blinding influence. • Pray that God would use you as His mouthpiece in that person’s life.
