  1. FRIGORIFICO MALDONADO (ex CODADESA) R 39 Km. 12,500 entre San Carlos y Maldonado. • HABILITACIONES: UE, USA, Terceros Países. • CAPACIDAD DE FAENA: Bovinos 400,Ovinos 2.000 en 8 horas. • DESOSADO.600 cuartos en 8 horas (se pueden hacer 2 turnos)

POTENCIAL DE LA ZONA DONDE SE UBICA EL FRIGORIFICO. • Si tomamos como distancia razonable para acceder al ganado para la faena entre 350 y 400 Km., podemos decir que cubrimos 15 de los 19 departamentos del País en los que se ubican casi 9 millones de animales de los 12 millones que componen el total del rodeo nacional. • Por otra parte está ubicado a 140 Km. del puerto de Montevideo sobre Rutas Nacionales en excelente estado. Además en esa zona del País sólo hay 2 frigoríficos exportadores (Matadero Solís en Lavalleja y PUL en Cerro Largo).

  3. Cantidad de Frigoríficos en actividad. • Existen 19 frigoríficos en todo el URUGUAY en actividad con habilitaciones para faena y exportación de carne vacuna a USA y UE. 9 de ellos están ubicados en Montevideo y Canelones.

  4. La secuencia de producción es: LINEAL EN DOS NIVELES. • Planta alta. Faena y cámaras de enfriado. • Planta baja. Menudencias, Desosado, Packing, Congelado y Carga. • No existen problemas de flujo en toda la línea de producción ya que no hay cruzamiento entre carne caliente, enfriada y desosado.
