  2. Beginning in 2014-15 (9th graders) • Every student must earn 22 FOUNDATION CREDITS • English I, II, & 3; plus an Adv. English Course (4 credits) • Algebra I, Geometry, an Adv. Math course (3 credits) • Biology, IPC (or Adv. Science course), an Adv. Science course (3 credits) • World History or World Geography, US History, Gov’t (1/2 credit), Economics (1/2 credit) (3 credits)

  3. Beginning in 2014-15 (9th graders) • Every student must earn 22 FOUNDATION CREDITS • Physical Education (1 credit) • Health (1/2 credit) • Languages other than English (2 credits—same language) • Fine Arts (1 credit) • Pace or Pace Plus (1/2 credit OR 1 credit) • Other Electives (4 credits) • *Speech credit is no longer required

  4. Beginning in 2014-15 (9th graders) • In addition to the Foundational credits, students must obtain an Endorsement (4 credits) • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) • Business & Industry • Public Services • Arts & Humanities • Multidisciplinary Studies

  5. For more information on the new graduation requirements, please attend one of the following district-wide parent events. • Feb 25th at ISC Boardroom (Jones Rd) • 7:00 pm • March 3rd at Berry Center (Barker Cypress Rd) • 7:00 pm
