  1. Welcome to 6th Grade School Year 2013-2014: with Victoria Snellgrove

What’s Happening Man? • You will be departmentalized or rotating classes this year! • You will have a different teacher for the following subjects: • Erica Curtis…ELA: Reading/Spelling • Victoria Snellgrove…Math/Language • Loren Newingham…S/S: Social Studies and Science • I am your homeroom teacher! • I will be responsible for parent conferences, recording grades, weekly folders, classroom parties, etc.

How to stay in Contact: • Homework updates will be posted on school website at: http://hillcrest.al.ece.schoolinsites.com/ • School Staff • Teachers/Instructors • Snellgrove, Victoria • Assignments and/or Calendar • The best way to contact me is through email. You can also call the school office and leave me a message. I will reply to you via email or call you as soon as possible. You can email me from my school page or directly at: vsnellgrove@enterpriseschools.net • Weekly Folders: Will contain the following information… • Conduct Grades (for prior weeks conduct) • Academic Papers/Grades (from two weeks prior assignments/tests) • Progress Reports/Report Cards • School notes/publications/announcements • Parent Conferences: 1. 1st Nine weeks conferences (required EBOE) 2. 2nd Nine weeks conferences (required EBOE) 3. Any conferences upon request

  5. Please write a letter to me about your child… • I am interested in learning about : • His/HerStrengths • His/HerInterests • Your expectations for them academically as a parent and/or guardian. • Any pertinent information that will help them achieve academically.

  6. Check your locker today! • Find your name! • Collect everything except for textbooks from your locker! • Please return all forms on Monday!
