Inspiring Entrepreneurship: WZCC's Vision for Zarthushti Enterprises

WZCC aims to be the 'Growth Engine' for Zarthushti enterprises, but questions arise about progress and direction. To achieve its goals, WZCC must focus on discipline, dedication, and persistence.

Entrepreneurship and WZCC • Entrepreneurs are instrumental in creating efficient products/services, jobs & wealth for the community. • WZCC aspires to be the ‘Growth Engine’ of Zarthushti enterprise. • A truly laudable concept… But how well are we progressing towards this goal? Are we progressing at all?

  4. Some constructive criticism • Are we seen as: • Not having a clear focus? • Being a well-meaning social group? • Not having enough funds for start-ups?

  5. Our membership includes… BusinessPeople Professionals Others?

  6. Through WZCC they seek to… Professionals Business People Others?

  7. It’s a mindset issue • The seed of entrepreneurship starts in the mind of the Entrepreneur. • It’s a mindset issue: the person has to be fired with a passion for enterprise. Q. How do we inspire our youth to go for business? A. Catch them young, and encourage them to start their own businesses.

  8. A successful entrepreneur requires… Can we help our youth to develop these attributes?

  9. What other initiatives? • Identify Zarthushti start-ups and connect with them. • Provide Mentoring to start-ups in a structured manner. • Define clear criteria for identifying worthwhile ventures and provide funding to support them. • Monitor progress of the entrepreneurs supported by WZCC.

  10. For ongoing businesses looking for growth… • Provide more structured activities for networking. • Connect Small and Medium-sized enterprises with larger ones who can outsource work to them. • Launch special initiatives for female entrepreneurs. • Have a mechanism to annually measure the Achievements v/s Targets set by WZCC chapters.

  11. WZCC will need to move forward with Focus, Discipline, Dedication and Persistenceto achieve its goals…
