Exploring Roller Coaster Design: A Collaborative Experiment
This project details a collaborative experimentation on roller coaster design conducted by team members Neil Desai, Sean Fox, Brianna Armes, Destiny Wheeler, and Lara Martinez. We aimed to evaluate the mechanics of our design and understand how variables affect roller coaster performance. Through hands-on methods and equipment usage, we observed significant results about phase changes and consistency. We gained insights into our individual contributions and collective learning processes. The project culminated in reflection on our team dynamics, social interactions, and our experiences throughout the camp.

Introduction • Who are we? • What was our experiment? • What did the lab hope to accomplish? • What were we trying to learn from this experiment?
Methods • What did we do in the lab? • What equipment did we use? • Did we have to make anything ourselves?
Results • What happened with our experiment? • What results did we get? • What did we see? • Were there any phase or consistency changes?
Lab conclusions • What did you learn from this experiment? • Did people in our group get different results? Why? • How did this experiment change how we think? • What conclusions have we gathered from this?
Social activity • What was our activity? What did we do? • Was this activity was fun? Why? • Did we learn anything from this activity? What? • Would we recommend this to future campers? Why?
Final thoughts • What was our favorite part of camp? • Acknowledgements
