This project showcases a collaboration between archivists and catalogers at Wake Forest University, led by Audra Eagle Yun and Rebecca Petersen. The goal is to export EAD (Encoded Archival Description) finding aids to a digital repository (DSpace) and create MARC records for the ZSR online catalog (Voyager). By utilizing tools like MarcEdit and improving records in OCLC and WorldCat, the initiative enhances the discoverability of a highly used collection of church records originally available only in paper formats. This collaboration streamlines cataloging processes and improves user access.
