Join us for a vital workshop focused on social media engagement for youth in care! We'll kick off with a fun logo guessing game before diving into what social networking is all about. Participants will learn about the benefits of social connections, as well as important safety guidelines, including do's and don'ts when using social networks. This session aims to equip youth with the skills to connect positively and safely online, ensuring they know how to find support and build meaningful relationships in their digital lives.

Do’s Always set your privacy settings Network with people Find good resources Be a role model Promote a business or organization Watch what you post or upload Be respectful of people and their opinions. Report people who do things that they aren’t supposed to be doing. Keep your information private Don’ts Don’t add people you don’t know. Don’t post provocative, semi-nude, nude or derogatory pictures of yourself or anyone else. Don’t harass others When posting comments don’t curse or use foul language. Don’t hack into others pages. Don’t tag people who don’t want to be tagged in pictures or comments. Don’t go and physically meet people you meet online. Don’t start cyber drama. Don’t put all your business online.
