Creating a Culture of Safety • Monthly rounding by Senior Leadership • Interacting with front line staff to hear their concerns regarding safety and how the next patient may be harmed • Open lines of communication and lets staff identify defects in processes or equipment to improve patient care. • A Culture of Safety is ensuring every patient, every nurse, every physician, EVERY TIME receives best practice evidence based medicine.

  9. October 5 – Massachusetts October 12 – Ohio October 14 – Pennsylvania This program has significantly improved patient care and communication between physicians and improved teamwork among all providers in the Intensive Care Unit.
