  1. Microsoft Support Team A Microsoft Excel, Word or PowerPoint file does not open because of incorrect file associations. After updating to the new April KB2919355 update for Windows 8.1 I am unable to open any Word, Excel, PowerPoint files or the programs themselves Microsoft Support Team

The Files of Microsoft Word, Excel or PowerPoint are Not Opining. • If you open Microsoft Word or Excel or PowerPoint file then it shows in the wrong image, the file is not open, you get an error. • This issue comes when file and related application is not union with the program. You have to do a union of the file and related application with program • For fixing this issue you have to follow some steps. In this steps, you have to use Method 1 if in your computer only one installation Microsoft Office. You have multiple installations in your computer of Microsoft Office than use Method 2 for fixing these issues.

  3. Method 1 If you have only Insolation of Microsoft Office 2010 on your computer flow steps to fix these issues. You have enter appwiz.cpl in the Search box. Choose Microsoft Office 2010 suite which you have to fix then click change. 3.You got the requesting to uninstall Microsoft office 2010. Click yes

Method 2 • If you find in your computer the Insolation of Microsoft Office suite are more than one, then you should fallow Method • For fixing this issue as early as possible. • You have enter appwiz.cpl in the Search box. • You will get currently installed programs list, choose Microsoft Office Click to Run 2010 and click to uninstall.

  5. Method 2 Continue You got the requesting to uninstall Microsoft office 2010. Click yes You should follow the uninstall instructions after that restart your computer

  6. Method 3 Continue You have enter appwiz.cpl in the Search box. Choose the Office 2010 MSI-based suite which you have to repair and click Change. Choose repair, and click Continue. Then you will get windows is given blow. You have to restart the computer after repair will be completed
