Instructional Purpose At the end of this chapter, the readers (students ) are expected to be familiar and understand some advanced of computers with use application ICT In language learning, ( hypertext, Computer Assisted Language learning (CALL ) and Web- Based Learning ) and some possible utilization of of ICT in language learning.

  5. A computer as a medium is used for the sake of facilitating people in learning, such as learning a language. However a computer is solely a tool and a medium. Hence it is powerless and is totally dependent on the Users .In this case, the computer is an Intermediary, it is merely a part of the entire Learning process (Hartoyo, 2006 )
