Meaning of Noah • From the Hebrew name נֹחַ ( Noach)meaning "rest, repose", derived from the root נוּחַ ( nuach). • You look outside you get distressed, you look inside you get stressed, but if you lookup you get rest. (much grace in rest)
God’s Favor • Righteousness: Means our heart is right • Blameless: Our conduct is right • Walking with God: What we all should be doing
Men in the House? • Can your family say that your are righteous, blameless, and walking with God? • What does your family say about you? • What needs to change in your life for them to say you are righteous, blameless, and walking with God?
Men in the House? • Are you the spiritual leader of the house? • Can they trust you to guide them? • Or do they let you do your own thing? • What greater statement could be said about you? • Other than you were righteous, obedient, and walked with God!
Genesis 9:9-10 9 “As for me, I am establishing my covenant with you and your descendants after you, 10 and with every living creature that is with you, the birds, the domestic animals, and every animal of the earth with you, as many as came out of the ark.
