Purpose of study: The primary purpose of this study is to clarify the settlements of the Strategy for sustainable development of the transport system in Warsaw until 2015 and next years in the introduction of limitations on private traffic in the central part of Warsaw. Moreover, study purpose are the following: • Delimitation of zones of differing rules of transport solutions. • Definition of user groups and priorities in individual zones. • Definition of maximum permissible speeds in individual zones. • Definition of transport solutions, organization and management of traffic and the rules of the organization of public space in the corridors of street in individual zones. • Definition of impact of the introduction of these rules on the operating city transport system and the directions of its development, with an indication of the necessary investment in roads and public transport, necessary for the proper operating of the system. • Propose a timetable for implementing the principles of transport solutions in the individual zones and other road investments and public transport, necessary for the proper operating of the system.
