Building Security – Mr. King • Visitors must check through the office. • Visitors must have a hall pass or a USD 443 employee badge. • USD 443 Employees must wear Identification Badge. • Lock down drills will be practiced. • Door straps must be on all classroom doors. • Classroom door locks should be kept in locked position with straps in place. (Rooms should always be accessible from the hallway.) • Review your crisis management plan in team.

Voting Protocol – Mrs. Duree • Consensus of Joint BLT is to proceed with the vote. (See Joint BLT Minutes) • Balloting will be done in buildings where change will be. • Ballots will be blue for Dodge City and pink for • Comanche, with Soule voting with DCMS. 6th, 7th and 8th teachers will vote. • NEA representatives will man the ballot boxes in the teacher workroom at each location. • Wording on ballot will be to approve or disapprove of the proposed schedule change.
Voting Protocol – Mrs. Duree • January 25th, 2012 was set for the voting. • Time frame for voting will be 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Back door of DCMS will be left open so that Soule teachers can vote after school. • 2/3 majority of those voting from each building will be required for vote to pass. • Upon passage, schedule change will be presented to BOE and then executive committee will approve or disapprove.
Parent Teacher Conferences • January 13th (Team Notification Letters) • January 23rd(Semester Failing Letters Mailed) • Criteria = 2.0 three or more F’s for semester, with some borderline. • Office will notify team leaders of student letters sent home.
