  2. Our Goal To assist teachers in actively engaging students by providing an Interactive Lesson Plan model that demonstrates effective uses of technology through authentic lessons. Interactive Lesson Plans go beyond just using technology: Students are utilizing information gathered from technology usage and applying their skills to a new situation and/or learning environment. Student are no longer seeing the computer or device, but are using technology as a learning tool. This approach enables students to reach a higher cognitive level by concentrating on what is to be learned by harnessing their newfound knowledge.

  4. Analyze • What should students be learning? • Use Data for Student Learning to analyze student data. • Review district, state and national objectives.

  5. Set Objectives • What will the student learn? • Define the objectives that the students will be working towards • Have in mind the objectives that you want to meet by creating this lesson plan

  6. Resources • What resources are available to help meet these objectives? • Websites • Webquests • MINDS • Computer programs • Teacher created computer activities

  7. Lesson Plan Creation • How can technology help students meet these objectives? • Creation of lesson plan with implementation of technology resources found. • Use online lesson plans for ideas.

  8. Delivery • Teacher directed • Cooperative Learning • Grouping • Partners • Individual

  9. Evaluation • What worked? • What didn’t work? • What do I need to change for next time? • Did my students meet the stated objectives? • What could I do to improve this ILP?
