This project focuses on innovative methods for the decarbonylation and decarboxylation of heptanoic acid, utilizing a multi-component experimental setup featuring a pressure relief condenser, phase separator, and a catalyst-packed bed reactor. The process is designed to enhance the production of hydrocarbons, water, and carbon dioxide while optimizing efficiency. We aim to improve reaction conditions through careful management of heating jackets and pre-heating chambers, ultimately contributing to greener chemical processes.
