  8. Learning Goals and Scales Learning Goal 1- Student is able to use their motor skills and movement patterns to perform a variety of physical activities. Learning Goal 2- Students will be able to describe physical fitness at an age appropriate level. Learning Goal 3: Students will participate in regular physical activity during physical education class. Learning Goal 4- Students participate during PE in a variety of fitness exercises, games or activities designed to enhance personal fitness Learning Goal 5- Students demonstrate cooperation and respect in an activity setting Learning Goal 6: Students will participate in physical activity for health, enjoyment, challenge, self-expression, and/or social interaction.

  9. Grading 10 Participation Points per class period. Based on preparation, participation, and effort-attempts to make improvements and complete all skills. Assessments, Assignments or projects View Grades on STUDENT VUE

  10. Absence from PE class Students absent from class need to exercise on their own and complete an absent make-up form. Absent Make up Form – Answer questions about physical activity/exercise you performed 10 points available for completion of absent work – USE complete sentences, answer thoroughly NOTE: not expected to exercise well sick!!

  11. Available in Locker Rooms or online Due Last Day of PE Quarter

  14. TIPS for PE SUCCESS Label PE uniform – first, last name ONLY Prevents – lost or stolen items Athletic Footwear – What is it? Why wear athletic footwear?? Hydration - Drink Water - Why water? NO GUM – gum free please
