If we see it, hear it, or you use it, we will take it up. • No electronics in class unless part of the teacher’s lesson. • No cell phones, mp3 players, ear buds, etc. in the halls. Electronic Devices Amanda J. Rhymer
Each student will have only one break. • Return to your 1st Block class after break, do not be tardy. • If you need to go to another teacher’s class, get a note before school. • We will watch QV every day to find out important information about our school. Break Procedure Amanda J. Rhymer

All pants must fit to the waist! • Shirts do not have to be tucked in, but should not be longer than your wrists. If your shirt is too long (i.e., covering your sagging pants) you will be asked to tuck it in and pull them up. • No exposed skin above the knee (shreds), you may tape or patch, but do it before school! Students may wear shorts that reach their knee. • Skirts should also reach the knee. • No short skirts w/leggings. • Gym shorts are not allowed, shorts must have a zipper and belt loops. Shorts/Skirts Amanda J. Rhymer
Neither males nor females will be permitted to wear rings and/or studs in their noses, tongues or any exposed body parts other than their ears. Piercings Amanda J. Rhymer
1st Violation-ALC for the remainder of the day, phone call to parent. • 2nd Violation-one day school suspension. • 3rd Violation-3 day school suspension • Your first block teacher will be checking for dress code, you will be sent to the office even if the “problem” is fixable. • Learn the code…Live the code! There will be a 1 minute warning bell before the tardy bell rings. • If the classroom door is closed, you are tardy! Go to the office! • Tardies are given in the attendance office. • If a teacher keeps you after class, get a note from them BEFORE you leave their classroom! • If you are more than 10 minutes late for a class, it will count as an absence. When you are absent, it is YOUR responsibility to find out what you missed. • You have the same number of days to make up work as you miss. For example: 2 days absent = 2 days to turn in missed work. • Exception: If we have a test on Friday and you miss Thursday, you will be expected to take the test on Friday. Use the website, make friends in the class. • If you miss the test day, the makeup test will be MUCH harder and will only be given AFTER school. • If you are going to miss a lot of class, please email me so that we can work something out. The student must have an 85 average. • The student can only miss TWO days (excused or unexcused.) • Students cannot be exempt if they have been suspended, attended DCAC, or been assigned to ALC for more than five days. Exam Exemptions Amanda J. Rhymer
