  2. RIVER BASIN PROFILE Total Land Area : 242,654.7 has. LCAlienable &Disposable = 111,045 has. ForestLand = 131,609 has. Location: 15 Municipalities and 3 Provinces Municipalities of Kapalong, Sto. Tomas, Dujali, Carmen, Talaingod, Asuncion, San Isidro Labrador, New Corella &Tagum City of DN; Laak, Monkayo, Montevista, Nabunturan, Mawab of ComVal and Loreto of Agusan Sur

  3. Two Major important Rivers- Libuganon - Saug Major Water Users within the Watershed: For Irrigation of Rice paddies and Banana Plantations -4 NIA RIS -3 CIS -2 CIS/Pump Irrigation Proj. -4 Small scale irrigation proj. -undetermined no. of deep wells and community spring water systems for potable & domestic purposes

  4. Natural features found w/in the River Basin potential for Eco-Tourism 3 Springs potential for Inland Resort 5 Water Falls (One is now operational) 11 Caves identified (one is now partially developed) 1 lake

  5. 2 Geo-Hazard Areas identified- Fault line (active & minor fault) -Flood prone area covering a total of 27,675 has. Tenure issued w/in the River Basin by DENR XI 8 CFBMAs w/ a total area of 23,794 has. 6 FLMAs w/ a total area of 420 has. 1 IFMA w/ a total area of 15,291 has. ISF Projects covering a total area of 4,144 has. 3 CADTs issued by NCIP XI
