  1. 欢迎！Welcome to Fourth Grade, Class 1 at the Qingzhuhu Foreign Language School in Changsha, Hunan Province, China. In this PowerPoint we made for OneWorld Classrooms’ Student to Student Language Lab, we will give you a tour of our wonderful school and show you some of the activities we do throughout our school year.

  2. First, we will give you a quick tour of our 学校. Here is a view of our campus.

  3. Here are some of our classroom buildings. Can you see the 钟at the top of the tower? Better get to class on time!

  4. Here is the school theater, behind the sports 运动场。

  5. Here is one of our school dormitory buildings. Most of us 睡觉right here at school.

  6. So, of course, we 吃饭at school, too. Here is the school cafeteria.

  7. Here are more classroom buildings. As you can see, we have 很多classrooms!

  8. Next, we will show you some activities we do at school. Here we are with our English 老师。

  9. 英文is fun!

  10. After the lesson, we do exercises to protect our 眼睛from strain.

  11. Here, we are doing an 美术activity using recycled water bottles.

  12. In Health class, we are learning about the importance of brushing our 牙齿.

  13. In music class, some of us learn to play the 小提琴.

  14. Besides studying, students are responsible for 打扫the classroom afterwards.

  15. Time to celebrate a classmate’s birthday. Everybody sing: 祝你生日快乐！

  16. Every student gets a piece of 蛋糕。

  17. Time for gym class. Everyone, 排队!

  18. Ready, and ... 一，二，三，四，五，六，七，八。。。

  19. OK, now let’s go fly a 风筝.

  20. On the count of three ... 一，二，三!

  21. Now it’s time for recess! Some of us will play 篮球.

  22. Today, a rare treat: playing in the 雪!

  23. Sometimes, we have student performances and competitions. Everybody, march!一, 二，一二！

  24. These 学生are performing a gymnastics routine.

  25. These 学生are singing a 歌.

  26. These 学生just completed anacrobatics performance. They are very flexible.

  27. A Mid-autumn 节日 performance .

  28. A New Year’s 节日performance.

  29. Let’s give them all a big cheer: 加油，加油！

  30. Sometimes we get to go outside our 学校for field trips. Here, we are visiting a nearby parkon our fall field trip.

  31. For our spring field trip, we visited a nearby history 博物馆. On the wall is a 诗written by a famous Chinese poet.

  32. Here, we are visiting a science 博物馆.

  33. Sometimes, we also organize to 帮助others who are less fortunate than ourselves. Here, we are donating things for the poor.

  34. Here, we are visiting a classmate in the 医院.

  35. Party time! At the end of the year, we celebrate our graduationwith our 父母.
