Empowering Youth Through Gender Equality Initiatives in Nepal's Five Regions

In Nepal, a transformative action plan engages 125 youth in work camps across five regions, emphasizing gender equality based on the National Action Plans (NAP) 1325 and 1820. These efforts focus on awareness-building and holding the government accountable for implementing these plans. A national consultation brings together women leaders from various sectors—social, political, academic, and entrepreneurial—to advocate for a comprehensive gender equality policy encouraging equal participation in decision-making. This initiative inspires youth to pursue careers in the public service sector, promoting positive change and hope for the future.
