Media Initiative for Peace and Reconciliation in Post-Conflict Sri Lanka
This project aims to connect print media with a radio talk show to enhance grassroots representation in Sri Lanka. It will explore ten literary narratives focused on peace and reconciliation, scheduled to run from August to December 2013. Additionally, the project will investigate the implementation of a long-term inter-ethnic, inter-cultural Mural Arts program in collaboration with various Sri Lankan institutions and the Philadelphia Mural Arts program. Support from Bryn Mawr College will also be leveraged to revise and develop a Mass Communication curriculum at the Open University of Sri Lanka.
