Dementia Care • In 2012 there were 3,189 people (over 65 years) with dementia in Swansea • Prediction by 2021 : 3,815 people (an increase of 19.6%) • Two thirds of people with dementia live in the community while one third live in a care home • Only 40% of people with dementia receive a diagnosis.
