  1. Senior Class Meeting: GRADUATION May 2, 2019

REMINDER: Important Dates • Senior Class Panoramic Picture & Senior Walk May 20th • Senior Awards Night: May 9, 6:30 pm, CFHS Performing Arts Center • Senior Final Exams: May 21 – May 24 • Senior Graduation Clearance: May 28th and May 29th • Commencement Practice: May 30, 1:15-4:00, CFHS Competition Gym (Senior Lunch @ 12:15 pm) • Commencement Ceremony: June 1, 7:30 pm, Challenger Columbia Stadium Arrive on June 1st at 4:00

  3. Spring Semester Senior Exemptions 2018 – 2019 Attendance and Discipline Requirements per class: • Spring semester course average of ninety (90) or above, no more than three (3) absences, or • Spring semester course average of eighty (80) or above, no more than two (2) absences, or • Spring semester average of 75-79 with no more than 1 absence; and • No conduct grade lower than satisfactory • 3 tardies = 1 absence • No discipline referrals (other than a tardy) • Must be clear of all fines and fees & detentions • No ISS or OSS during Spring Semester

Spring Semester Senior Exemptions • No violation of Secondary Honor Code for this school year • Absences that are exceptions and not counted against exemptions: • Approved college visit days • Death in family • Religious holy days • Students may be exempt, but decide to take the final to improve grade *Credit Recovery courses not eligible for exemptions

REMINDER: Senior Exam Schedule Tuesday, May 21, 2018: 1st period Wednesday, May 22, 2018: 2nd period 4th period Thursday, May 23, 2018: 5th period 6th period Friday, May 24, 2018: 7th period 6th period (Senior Mtg) 3rd period Attendance is mandatory for all seniors regardless of exemptions May 21 – May 24.

  9. Now Until Graduation • Attend tutorials if necessary • Get all work due turned in promptly • Study extra hard for finals • Appeals for Credit: turn in forms and complete any time owed

  10. Senior Awards Night May 9, 2019, 6:30pm CFHS Performing Arts Center Everyone is welcome to attend. Students receiving special recognition or awards will be notified by personal invitation. Students receiving recognition at this event must RSVP to the College Center ahead of time. On the evening of the event, recognized students must report to the auditorium by 6:00 pm.

Graduation Panoramic Picture Picture Day Purchase Information Date: May 21 Location: Commons during All lunches Price Packages: $25 – Panoramic $35 – Large Laminated & 1 Medium Panoramic Method of Payment: Cash, Check or Money Order • Date: May 20 • Location: Report to 1st Period – move to the PAC • Time: 8:15 • Attire: Graduation Robe over normal dress • If you do not have a robe one will be provided for you. Limited Supply

Class of 2019 Senior Walk Need to Know: Must Haves: Completed Consent Form and Emergency Medical Information Due Date: May 13th Turn into ELA 4 Teacher ELA Dual Credit – turn into College Center Date: May 20 Location: Education Village –respective feeder campuses Time: Immediately after Panoramic Picture Attire: Capand Gown No Tassel for Walk

  13. Graduation Practice Thursday- May 30, 2019 1:15 pm – 4:00 pm Luncheon in Commons at 12:15 MANDATORY ATTENDANCE REQUIRED FOR ENTIRE CLASS *Make arrangements at work to attend* You do NOT need your cap and gown for practice

  14. Dress Expectations: Women WOMEN’S DRESS CODE (Not an option) • Shoes: flats - no heels, no wedges, … • Dress/Skirt: dark color • Must not extend below the gown • Jewelry: watch and ring(s) are okay • Earrings: small and simple

  15. Dress Expectations: Everyone • No tennis shoes, flip flops, shorts, jeans, or brightly colored clothing • No sunglasses • No Visible Tattoos - Cover them

  16. Dress Expectations: Men MEN’S DRESS CODE (Not an option) • Shirt: white dress shirt All grad gowns have a V-neck, so the color of the shirt and tie is important. • Pants: black or dark blue (no jeans) • Tie: dark • Shoes: dark dress shoes • Socks: matching dark

Rain Plan • In case of rain, there will be a revised plan announced between noon and 2:00 pm on the day of graduation. • Rain Tickets will be issued at practice for you to give to your parents. • Each graduate will receive a set amount of tickets • Two ceremonies will be held at the Gymnasium at Clear Falls HS – All Seniors will have to be dropped off if we move to a Rain Plan. • A-K from 6-7 pm, report to CFHS at 3pm • L-Z from 8:30-9:30 pm, report to CFHS at 5pm More information at the next Senior meeting
