Annual Report Jeanie McDonald - Chair
Key Achievements • Laura passed her bike ability exam • We set up the parent council website • We came to an arrangement with Tesco to provide our school uniforms • We paid for the bus to Dalguise
Key Achievements continued • We assisted the school to achieve a really good HMIe report • We paid for the Halloween party • We organised the removal of the climbing wall • We contributed to the consultation on the Council budgets • We provided every class with a wet weather box
Fundraising Achievements • We raised over £500 at the Car Boot Sale • We set us an easyfundraising page and an easysearch page • We helped the children make and sell cakes and Christmas logs
Areas of continuous involvement • We continue to work with the education department on the following activities: • Our legal/safety concerns with people accessing the school grounds outside school hours • The recruitment of a new Head Teacher • The Clackmannanshire Parent Council Network • We continue to work with the school to identify how we can provide further support for our children moving from Banchory PS to Lornshill Academy.
