Integration of Pupil-Foreigners in Czech Education: EU Project Conference Overview

This document outlines the activities and objectives of the EU project focused on the integration of pupil-foreigners into the Czech education system, hosted by the University of Ústí nad Labem on November 19-20, 2009. The project, funded by the European Social Fund, aims to enhance the teaching of Czech as a foreign language through innovative teacher training programs. It targets over 200 students and includes the development of an e-learning course and a new multilingual phraseological dictionary to support communication and integration in the classroom.

EUPROJECT CZ.1.07/2.2.00/07.0437 • Czech language for pupil-foreigners: innovation of teacher´s study programs for the elementary schools (started 5/2009) • Target group: 200 students • Main goals: • To teach students to communicate with pupil-foreigners • The education methodology of Czech language as foreign language
