Target Application • Data Center Top-of-Rack (ToR) Access: • DXS-3600-32S is ideal for Data Center Top-of-Rack (ToR) access and connect with storage/server which needs high performer, low latency, high reliability, special cooling system design and data center bridge • High Performance/Low Latency: • DXS-3600-32S supports 960G switch capacity, 714Mpps forwarding rate and <1.93usultra low latency with Cut-Through Switching • High Reliability: • 1+1 redundant AC/DC PSUwith hot-swappable and load sharing function to minimum network downtime • 2+1 redundant fan traywith hot-swappable for easy replacement and smart fan to adjust fan speed automatically by different thermal condition and fan tray quantity to lower acoustics and extend fans’ lifetime • Special Cooling System: • DXS-3600 series supports front-to-back or back-to-front airflow to fit server rack cooling design

Target Application • Data Center Bridge: • Data Center Bridge (DCB) increases the network availability to support lossless transmission • Enterprise/Campus Aggregation: • DXS-3600 series is ideal for enterprise/campus aggregation and can be replace chassis’ aggregation position which needs high bandwidth demanding, scalability and flexibility infrastructure • Scalability: • By utilize DXS-3600-EM-STACK, it supports max. 96 SFP+ports in one stack • Flexibility: • The device supports 1000 Base-T, 10G Base-T, SFP+ and future-proof QSFP+ expansion module for different application demand • Optional enhanced image to support L3 upgrade path easily on the same hardware platform

Target Application • SME Core Switch: • DXS-3600 series is ideal for small to medium enterprise core switch which require high performance, reliability and scalability connection • Edge Router of Carrier MPLS Core Network: • DXS-3600 series is ideal for Metro network which needs triple play service (Data, IPTV, VoIP), MPLS VPN, OAM and high performance • Triple Play: • DXS-3600 series supports CIR, three color marker, per queue and per-flow bandwidth control to guarantee the quality of service • MPLS VPN: • Not only L2 MPLS like VPLS, VPWS, L2PT, pseudowire redundancy but also L3 VPN, MP-BGP, VRF-Lite are supported for metro application • OAM: • DXS-3600 series will support OAM, Y.1731, CFM in the future

Hardware Overview – Cooling System DXS-3600 Series Selectable Airflow: Hot Side Cold Side • Optimized cooling system to fit the heat dissipation design of data center: • The DXS-3600 switches allow users to change airflow by using different power and fan module sets • Front-to-Back • Back-to-Front P.S Different airflow module cannot be mixed.
