  3. Basic Commands • MS Office Language Tools • Close vs. Exit • Open • Save Modes: • Save • Save As • Save As Webpage

  4. Printing • How to print • Specific page, e.g. page 7 • Range, e.g. from page 7 to 10 • Separate pages, e.g. 7 and 12 • Which pages does the following print command print: • 5-8,12-14,16,20-24 • Print Preview

  5. New Document • Blank Document • Template: • Fax • Memo • CV

  6. Page Setup – Page Orientation • Change all pages to: “Landscape” • All pages  “Portrait”, except last page: “Landscape” • All pages  “Landscape”, except last page: “Portrait” • Alternating page orientation • Portrait, landscape, portrait, landscape, …etc

  7. Page Setup – Page Margins • Change the page margins to: • Top: 4 cm • Right: 2.4 cm • Left: 2.8 cm • Bottom: 0.7 inch

  8. Cm-Inch Conversion • Tools • Options • General • Measurements Units

  9. Page Setup • Change all pages to size A5 • Make the first page A5, and the rest A4

  10. Page Setup – Line Numbers • Add line numbers to the whole document • Add page numbers such that: • Numbering starts at 6 • Distance from text 0.6 cm • Continuous • Add page numbers such that • Starts at 5 • Only multiples of 5 are shown, i.e. 5,10,15,20…etc
