ACAC/ACI Seminar on Aerodrome Certification, Marrakech, Morocco5 & 6 September 2003 Prerequisites for certification: Availability of appropriate national legislation & regulations – Basic aviation law authorizing establishment of the CAA, adoption of regulations, empower DGCA to issue, transfer, refuse or cancel certificates etc.; Organisational infrastructure; Well-trained and qualified staff for evaluation of application, inspection of airport infrastructure, safety procedures and checks.
