  7. OurCloud • OurCloud is a repository space on servers at the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Essentially, it is an online drive where you can download and upload documents and create and share folders. This service provides file sharing between desktop, laptop, netbook, smart phone and tablet devices. Apps are available for tablets and smart phones; they are named WebDAV and OwnCloud. • You can also access OurCloudvia FTP and with EDnet, windows share protocols.

Many different sharing feature You can share the folder or file with another OurCloud user or with a link. The folder or file can be password protected and it can have an expiration date.

  25. Blended Learning Blended Learning combines classroom with online delivery of curriculum; formal planned instruction and learning take place in both environments. Students are exposed to the technological enhanced active learning possibilities of an online environment in addition to the existing opportunities of the physical classroom. Blended learning extends student learning, provides opportunity for increased engagement and helps meet the needs of diverse learners. This pedagogical approach often affords students some flexibility with time, place, path and pace.
